VAUCHER BEGUET MISTRAL SERIES
Automatic Sorting System
There are now many of the Vaucher-Beguet automated berry sorting systems in North America in locations raging from British Columbia to Ontario and from Walla Walla to the Napa Valley. The Mistral system, by Vaucher Beguet, utilizes both airblade technology and vibration to segregate clean, sound berries from waste (ranging from green matter to raisins and broken berries). The system also has the capacity to further segregate waste and clean product into distinct quality levels depending on the winemaker’s desired selectivity. The photos below include the waste and clean product that the Mistral line segregated. This was done without a single worker sorting on the line.
